.DISCUSSION...

Mild conditions and increasing humidity are expected tonight as
high pressure pushes offshore. An area of low pressure will move
across the Carolinas Thursday and quickly off the Delmarva coast
Friday. Dry conditions are expected on Thursday, but shower and
thunderstorm chances will increase substantially by Friday night
into much of the day on Saturday as a cold front drops into the
region.

Chance of rain around 20 to 30 percent on Friday afternoon, then
increasing to 40 to 50 percent late Friday night into Saturday
morning. Rain is likely for much of the day Saturday, with chances
around 60 to 80 percent, especially during the afternoon/evening.
