.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will stay in control across the Mid-Atlantic through
today continuing rain-free conditions. As high pressure moves off
the East Coast, a cold front will slowly approach the region from
the northwest by Thursday triggering an increased coverage of
showers and thunderstorms. The frontal boundary is expected to
stall across the area from Friday into the upcoming weekend with
unsettled and showery weather likely to persist.
