...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall
  continues, mostly on Gunpowder Falls at Glencoe and Beaverdam Run
  at Cockeysville.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Maryland, including the following
  county, Baltimore.

* WHEN...Until 1100 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. It
  will take several hours for all the water from these storms to
  work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 832 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing. Between 2 and 4 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cockeysville...                    Phoenix...
    Sparks...                          Glencoe...
    Hunt Valley...                     Monkton...
  - This includes the following Flood Prone Roads...
    York Road at Beaverdam Run near Beaver Run Lane, Beaver Dam
    Road at Beaverdam Run near Cockeysville, Phoenix Road at
    Gunpowder Falls near Carroll Road and Lower Glencoe Road at
    Gunpowder Falls near Glencoe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
