...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of eastern West Virginia, including the
  following county, Mineral.

* WHEN...Until 730 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 127 AM EDT, The stream gauge on Patterson Creek near
    Headsville indicates that flooding is about to occur. Between
    1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen earlier this evening
    over a relatively short timeframe, resulting in a steady rise
    in stream levels over the past several hours.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Fort Ashby...                      Reeses Mill...
    Headsville...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
