...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Virginia, including the following
  counties, City of Manassas, City of Manassas Park, Fauquier and
  Prince William.

* WHEN...Until 1130 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
  remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated
  with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 807 AM EDT, Minor flooding is still being observed at
    Kettle Run near Bristow Manor. At 755 AM, Kettle Run was at
    7.3 feet and falling and flood stage is 6.5 feet
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
