...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL LUBBOCK COUNTY THROUGH
845 PM CDT...

At 815 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Idalou, or 10 miles northeast of Lubbock, moving west at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lubbock, Idalou, Lubbock International Airport, Texas Tech
University, Downtown Lubbock, New Deal, and Lubbock Science Spectrum.
