CDT THIS EVENING...

...HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH
FRIDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, west winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts
  up to 45 mph expected. For the High Wind Watch, west winds 35 to
  45 mph with gusts up to 70 mph possible.

* WHERE...Southern portions of the South Plains and Rolling Plains.

* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, from 11 AM this morning to 7 PM CDT
  this evening. For the High Wind Watch, from Friday morning through
  Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property and
  cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for
  high profile vehicles. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured
  objects and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Widespread blowing dust is expected on
  Friday, and significant reductions in visibility are possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.

Fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a safe location prior to
the onset of winds.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
