Rain showers and a few embedded thunderstorms will generally move
northeast to east across the area at 15 mph. This activity will
bring with it a risk of brief moderate rainfall and wind gusts to
40 mph. The areas most likely to see rainfall include the extreme
southern Texas panhandle, the southern and eastern South Plains as
well as the Rolling Plains.
