Through 5 PM, a large and broken line of showers and
thunderstorms will continue to move east of Interstate 27 and
Highway 87, before slowly dissipating in the Rolling Plains and
far southeast Texas Panhandle where a layer of stable air resides.
Until this activity falls apart, localized downpours and gusty
winds to 50 mph will be possible along the leading edge of these
storms, especially from Floydada southwest to Slaton and
O`Donnell.
