This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening for the far
southern Texas Panhandle and portions of the South Plains. The
threat for severe storms is low however, locally heavy rainfall and
flash flooding are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Temperatures near to above 100 degrees will be possible this weekend
into early next week, primarily off the Caprock. In addition,
thunderstorm chances will return to parts of the region, favoring
locations on the Caprock, much of next week. Locally heavy rain and
gusty winds will be the primary threats with the strongest
thunderstorms.
