This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop late
this afternoon mainly across the western South Plains. These
thunderstorms may become supercellular in nature with the potential
to produce wind gusts up to 70 mph, hail up to the size of golf
balls, and locally heavy rainfall. An isolated tornado cannot be
ruled out. Additional thunderstorm development across the South
Plains region is possible tonight with wind gusts to near 60 mph and
heavy rainfall the main threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Triple digit heat will affect most of the region from Wednesday
through at least Friday. A few spots, especially off the Caprock,
may see highs approaching 105 degrees.

Spotter activation may be needed late this afternoon into this
evening.
