.DISCUSSION...
Light NW winds in the morning back to SW at 10-15 mph by this
afternoon as a cold front moves through the area. High temperatures
will range from the upper 70s over the far SW Panhandle, to near 90
for the southern Rolling Plains. Minimum RHs will again range from
10-15%. Given the generally lighter winds and continued low fuels
thanks in part to the heavy precipitation a couple weeks ago, fire
concerns will be minimal. Temperatures will slightly warm on Friday,
with RHs falling into the single-digits across portions of the South
Plains. However, fire concerns will remain low for the same
reasoning as today.
