.DISCUSSION...
Breezy, southerly winds are expected to develop late this morning
and last into the nighttime hours. During the afternoon, mixing
heights will ascend to around 2-km AGL and be shunted by a strong
cap aloft. High temperatures will be similar to yesterday, and with
a thickening high-altitude cloud deck, RH reductions will remain
between 30-35 percent on the Caprock, and to 25-30 percent in the
Rolling Plains. RH will recover to above 50 percent in the Rolling
Plains and above 60 percent on the Caprock tonight. The potential
for the growth and spread of wildfires is low.
