.DISCUSSION...
Very warm, dry and breezy conditions will develop across the
Caprock and western Rolling Plains each afternoon and evening
through Monday as the dryline mixes into the eastern Rolling
Plains or farther east. This will result in afternoon RH values
dropping into the single digits while southwesterly breezes will
range from 15 to 20 mph at the 20 foot level this afternoon. The
wind will be stronger on Sunday...and slightly weaker on Monday.
The dryline is expected to retreat west to roughly the I-27
corridor tonight with very good RH recovery east of the dryline
and very poor recovery to the west.
The overall fire danger will continue to be tempered by the
relatively green fuels. A cold front passing through on Tuesday
will usher in cooler temperatures and a slightly more moist
airmass.
