.DISCUSSION...
It will be unseasonably warm/hot again this afternoon, complete with
breezy southerly winds (sustained at 15-25 mph). Minimum RHs around
30% will be common this afternoon, except near the TX/NM line where
they will dip to near 20%. The breezy, warm and dry conditions could
support fire spread if one ignites, like seen in Briscoe County
Saturday afternoon. In addition, there is an slim chance (10%) of
high-based convection across the southwest Texas Panhandle and
northwest South Plains this evening. The greatest threat with any
convection would be gusty and erratic winds and perhaps a few
lightning strikes, but any rainfall would be spotty and light.
Monday will bring a continuation of the heat, but less wind.
