.DISCUSSION...
Light winds overnight will increase slightly out of the southwest
Tuesday morning, and will remain near 15 mph over most areas
throughout the day. Slightly stronger winds may develop during the
late afternoon, especially over the southern TX Panhandle where
occasional gusts to 25 mph are possible. Very hot temperatures will
result in minimum RH values near 15 percent area-wide, resulting in
pockets of elevated fire weather conditions. RFTI values peak at 1
on Tuesday, but given the critically to extremely dry fuels and
recent fire activity, a Fire Danger Statement has been issued for
most of the forecast area from 1 PM to 8 PM Tuesday.
