.DISCUSSION...
Hot temperatures persist this week, with highs generally in the
mid/upper 90s on the Caprock and low 100s off the Caprock. Dry
conditions prevail through Tuesday, then storm chances return to the
southern Texas Panhandle on Wednesday. Those storm chances expand to
include much of the region on Thursday. Fire weather concerns remain
low early this week as southerly winds remain below 20 mph
(sustained) and afternoon RH values stay above 20%.
