.DISCUSSION...
Southerly winds are expected over the next 48 hours, sustained
around 10-15 mph with occasional gusts as high as 25 mph. Afternoon
RH values today will drop to 15-20%, but increase slightly on Sunday
to 20-25%. A few storms are possible this afternoon and evening
across the Caprock and the far southern Texas Panhandle (15%
chance). Any storms that do form will be capable of strong, erratic
wind gusts. Storm activity is expected to stay just west of the New
Mexico/Texas border on Sunday. Above normal temperatures persist
well into this week.
