.DISCUSSION...
Breezy southerly winds will continue on Tuesday with wind speeds up
to 15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. Scattered storms are expected to
develop on Tuesday afternoon and lasting through the evening hours.
The highest chances of precipitation will be on the caprock. These
storms will be capable of producing strong and erratic winds along
with heavy rainfall. Although areas off the caprock will see ERC
values above the 75th percentile, afternoon relative humidity values
will bottom out around 30 percent. These conditions do not quite
warrant the issuance of a rangeland fire danger statement for areas
off the caprock.
