.DISCUSSION...
Strong, southeasterly winds will prevail today with speeds between
20-30 mph and locally higher gusts. Dense cloud cover and cool
temperatures will keep relative humidity values near 70 percent
across the Caprock, while falling to near 50 percent in the eastern
Rolling Plains. Spotty showers and storms today will increase in
coverage heading into tonight, especially for locations west of the
I-27/HWY-87 corridors.
