.DISCUSSION...
Warm temperatures will continue for the area this weekend with
afternoon relative humidity values ranging from 25 to 35 percent.
A few isolated storms will be possible near the Texas/New Mexico
state line this evening which will be capable of producing gusty
and erratic wind gusts. More scattered storms can be expected on
Saturday afternoon across the central South Plains and will again
primarily be capable of producing strong wind gusts. Cooler
temperatures may arrive around Monday of next week as a cold front
may move through the region.
