.DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms are expected again this afternoon and
evening but primarily be located across the southwestern Texas
Panhandle and northwestern South Plains. This activity will bring
strong wind gusts in the vicinity of storms that develop along with
locally heavy rainfall. Otherwise, afternoon relative humidity
values will continue to bottom out around 20-30 percent through the
weekend with hot temperatures persisting. Winds will vary from the
southwest in the morning to the southeast in the afternoon around 10-
15 mph.
