.DISCUSSION...
Locally elevated fire conditions continue through the rest of the
afternoon with wind speeds up to 20 mph, especially on the
Caprock. Currently winds are from the southeast. Through the late
evening and overnight hours, winds will shift to the southwest.
Hot temperatures in the upper 90s to lower triple digits continue
Wednesday. Winds will remain light around 5 to 10 mph through the
day. Wind direction will vary between southwest to southeast.
