.DISCUSSION...
South-southwest winds will remain on the breezy side through the
rest of today, with sustained speeds of 15 to 20 mph and gusts up to
30 mph. Winds will weaken after sunset with sustained speeds
generally between 10 to 15 mph overnight. Minimum RH values as low
as 15 percent are expected today with recovery only to around 50 to
60 percent tonight. A few thunderstorms capable of very strong and
erratic wind gusts are possible this afternoon and evening
especially across the southern TX Panhandle and near the TX/NM state
line. Better chances for wetting rain arrive over more of the region
on Sunday evening.
