...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...The far southeast Panhandle and Rolling Plains of West
  Texas, including the following counties, Childress, Cottle,
  Crosby, Dickens, Garza, Kent, King, Motley and Stonewall.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks
  and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - A band of showers and thunderstorms are expected to move
    relatively slowly, and will be capable of very high rain
    rates. This combined with repeated training of storms over
    the same locations may result in flash flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
