The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Eastern Marion County in south central Illinois...

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 648 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located near Woodlawn, or 13 miles southeast of
  Centralia, moving northeast at 60 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught
           without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or
           destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will
           occur. Tree damage is likely.

* Other locations impacted by the tornado include Walnut Hill, Kell,
  Cartter and Iuka.

This includes Interstate 57 in Illinois near exit 109.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
building away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home,
or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
