The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Knox County in northeastern Missouri...

* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 642 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 19 miles west of Edina, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
           to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
           likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Hurdland, Novelty, Baring, Edina, Knox City, Newark and Colony.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.

Heavy rainfall is hiding this tornado. Do not wait to see or hear the
tornado. Take cover now!
