Rating: EF3 Estimated Peak Wind: 165 mph Path Length /statute/: 21.95 miles Path Width /maximum/: 200 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/02/2025 Start Time: 03:13 PM CDT Start Location: 5 NNE Davisville / Crawford County / MO Start Lat/Lon: 37.8737 / -91.1336 End Date: 04/02/2025 End Time: 03:39 PM CDT End Location: 2 NW Old Mines / Washington County / MO End Lat/Lon: 38.0395 / -90.7913 Survey Summary: A tornado touched down in rural east-central Crawford county, causing damage to numerous trees as it moved into Washington county. The tornado intensified as it moved through areas to the west and north of Potosi, MO, taking out large swaths of trees. As the tornado crossed State Highway 185, it destroyed 2 homes. It was here that we estimated the tornado`s maximum wind speed of 165 mph. The tornado then diminished in intensity as it moved to the northeast before finally lifting before reaching Highway 21. ..Greenville, IL Tornado... Rating: EF2 Estimated Peak Wind: 135 mph Path Length /statute/: 22.83 miles Path Width /maximum/: 0 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 1 Start Date: 04/02/2025 Start Time: 05:05 PM CDT Start Location: 1 ENE Pierron / Bond County / IL Start Lat/Lon: 38.7869 / -89.5416 End Date: 04/02/2025 End Time: 05:29 PM CDT End Location: 2 WSW Shafter / Fayette County / IL End Lat/Lon: 39.0007 / -89.2217 Survey Summary: A tornado touched down in southeastern Bond county, immediately causing damage to a home and a pole barn. As the tornado tracked northeast toward Interstate 70, it caused damage to numerous trees before causing significant damage to another home. It was here that we estimated the tornado`s maximum wind speed of 135 mph. The tornado continued to the northeast, crossing Interstate 70 and moving into southern portions of Greenville, IL.
