.DISCUSSION...
Regionally, winds are easterly, but at the wildfire location they
are more variable in wind direction and could have a northerly or
southerly component at times.

Winds will continue to be variable through the afternoon with speeds
less than 7 mph, decreasing after sunset to light and variable.
Temperatures are reaching their peak in the upper 80s with RH values in
the low 30s. As the sun sets temperatures will cool very quickly
and RH values will increase.

Smoke will rise in the atmosphere this afternoon to 6,500-7,500ft,
though won`t disperse well due to low wind speed. An inversion will
begin developing around 7PM, and will trap any smoke in a 500 ft
layer near the surface into tomorrow morning.
