.DISCUSSION...

Gradually-increasing cloud cover and a strengthening inversion
aloft will stunt deeper mixing (2100-2300ft) at the unit today,
but still expect an unseasonably warm and dry day with southerly
winds up to 10mph. It`s unlikely to see values over 15mph. RH
values will need to be monitored: minimum values of 28% are
forecast, with a worst-case scenario of 22-25% possible in the
afternoon in cloud cover isn`t as robust. With fairly light
transport winds, don`t expect quick smoke dispersion. That said,
the very lowest part of the atmosphere should be unstable enough
to get smoke away from the ground fairly quickly.

RH recovery will improve going forward with more unfettered
moisture return streaming into Missouri through Saturday. Sunday
will cool down to near-normal and wetting rain chances increase
Monday onward.
