Spot Forecast for Pacific Palisades WSG Field...Missouri Department of Conservation
National Weather Service Saint Louis MO
740 AM CST Tue Nov 26 2024

Forecast is based on ignition time of 0800 CST on November 26.
If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the
National Weather Service.

.DISCUSSION...
Dry conditions are expected today, with primarily light and
variable winds. While full sun can be expected in the morning,
slowly increasing high level clouds can be expected throughout
the day. Mixing heights are likely to be relatively shallow
throughout the afternoon, reaching only a maximum of 2000 feet.
This combination of light winds and shallow mixing heights may
lead to poor smoke dispersion. A very slight increase in wind
speed and shift to the southeast may occur late in the afternoon,
but confidence is low that this will happen within the burn
window. Temperatures are expected to be near seasonal averages,
roughly 50 degrees. Dry conditions are expected overnight, with
light southeast winds and good humidity recoveries.
