.DISCUSSION...
A cold front is currently moving through the area and will pass
through the burn site by 9 AM. Dry air will move into the region
behind the front, allowing RH values to drop into the mid to upper
30s by this afternoon.
The atmosphere will mix above 1700 ft between 11am-12pm today, reaching
a maximum height between 5300-6800 ft. This section of the atmosphere
will be unstable, and will allow smoke to rise quickly. 20-25 mph winds
within the mixed layer will allow for effective smoke dispersion this
afternoon. Winds at the surface may gust briefly to 20 mph during the
afternoon, resulting in an eye level gust around 8 mph.
