.DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to track through the
region from south to north this morning. A brief lull is
expects from mid-morning through early afternoon before yet
another wave of widespread showers and thunderstorms develop
along an approaching cold front. Strong to severe thunderstorms
are expected along the front late this afternoon through late
this evening, including the possibility of large hail,
damaging winds, and tornadoes. Locally heavy rain is possible,
which may pose a localized flash flood threat for locations
that received heavy rain over the past couple of days.
Slightly cooler and drier conditions arrive Monday. Temperatures
warm again Tuesday before another active pattern returns to
the region late Tuesday through late week.
