Seasonably warm and humid weather is expected today through early
next week, with temperatures in the upper 80s to as warm as the
mid 90s in some places. Scattered pop-up showers and
thunderstorms are expected both this afternoon and Friday, with
bursts of heavy rain and lightning. Rain amounts will be highly
variable, but sporadic amounts of 1-3 inches will be possible
within the strongest thunderstorm cores. Light and variable winds
today will increase slightly become southwesterly tomorrow and
Saturday.
