Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern/Central MO and Southwest IL

A cold front is moving through the region today with isolated to
scattered showers ahead of and behind the feature. Widespread
rain is not expected with the front with most locations due to
receive less than 0.1" of rain. This is the best chance of rain
for the next 7 days at least. High pressure moves in behind the
front and we cool into the 70s. Afternoon minimum relative
humidity values are forecast to drop into the 20s and 30s
Wednesday through Friday, though currently surface winds are
forecast to remain below 10 kts for most of the area during that
time period.
