Along/ahead of a stalling cold front today in central,
east-central, southeastern MO and southwestern IL hot and humid
conditions will persist today along with redeveloping scattered
to numerous showers and thunderstorms. Elsewhere to the
northeast, slightly cooler and mainly dry conditions are expected
today. Heat and humidity will envelope most of the area Monday
and then the southern half of the area ahead of a cold front on
Tuesday. Much cooler temperatures and dry conditions will prevail
Wednesday and Thursday.
