.DISCUSSION...
Light drizzle, rain and some freezing drizzle remains likely through
late this evening. Temperatures will remain steady or slowly warm
overnight with a few rumbles of thunder possible. A few showers are
expected to linger over southeast Missouri and southwest Illinois
Thursday morning. Otherwise, high pressure will bring dry conditions
late Thursday though Friday. Another system will bring widespread
rainfall to the region late Friday into Saturday with above normal
temperatures along and south of I-70. The long range pattern will
support a return to cooler temperatures with chances for wintry
precipitation Monday and Tuesday.
