Temperatures will warm a few degrees today and Saturday compared
to the day before, though high temperatures will still remain
near average for late August. RH values will reach their minimums
in the 50s to low 60s both days ahead of a dry airmass that will
move into the region starting Sunday. Winds will be light and
variable today, but become northwest to northerly Saturday as a
dry front moves through the region.
By Sunday a cool and dry airmass will move into the region,
lasting through at least Wednesday. Temperatures will peak in the
70s to low 80s, with RH values reaching their minimums in the
upper 30s to mid 40s by Tuesday and Wednesday. Chances for rain
finally return to the area toward the end of next work week, but
confidence in whether this will occur is low.
