...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Southeastern Crawford County in east central Missouri...
  Southern Washington County in east central Missouri...
  Iron County in southeastern Missouri...
  Northeastern Reynolds County in southeastern Missouri...

* WHEN...Until 215 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
  remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated
  with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1153 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the
    warned area.  Between 6 and 11 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the
    warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Viburnum, Annapolis, Glover, Oates, Bixby, Lesterville, Black,
    Hogan, Chloride and Sabula.
  - This includes the following State Parks...
    Johnsons Shut-Ins State Park and Taum Sauk Mountain State Park.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
