...The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Missouri...

  Maries River near Westphalia.

  Moreau River near Jefferson City.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON TO TUESDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Maries River near Westphalia.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 13.9 feet, County Road 615 just north of the U.S.
  Highway 63 bridge begins flooding at this height.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 6.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
    afternoon to 12.0 feet this evening. It will then fall just
    after midnight tonight. It will rise to 13.8 feet tomorrow
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Moreau River near Jefferson City.

* WHEN...From this evening to Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 23.5 feet, Near this height, Walnut Acres Road near
  North Moreau Creek will likely need to be closed.  This road is
  18.3 river miles upstream of the gage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 6.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 24.5 feet tomorrow evening.
    It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
