...Rises Forecast Along the Cosumnes River...

.A series of strong winter storms will bring periods of moderate to
heavy rainfall to northern California through the end of the week.
This will result in rises along the Cosumnes River where Michigan
Bar and McConnell forecast points are both in Monitor Stage and
forecast to remain in Monitor Stage until Thursday.

Forecasts are based on present and forecasted meteorological and
hydrologic conditions at time of issuance.

Unlisted forecast points are expected to remain below monitor stage.
All those affected by river conditions should remain alert for rapid
changes and for possible forecast revisions.

 Michigan Bar 2/04 8:30 stage 7.0 ft
Forecast to rise above monitor stage of 7.0 FT late tonight then
forecast to rise above monitor stage of 7.0 FT late tonight then
forecast to fall below monitor stage of 7.0 FT early tomorrow
afternoon then forecast to recede to near 5.5 FT Thursday morning.
 Monitor stage 7.0 ft, Flood stage 12.0

Forecast to rise above monitor stage of 38.5 FT tomorrow morning
then forecast to rise to near 41.0 FT tomorrow evening then forecast
to fall below monitor stage of 38.5 FT late Thursday morning then
forecast to recede to near 35.5 FT late Thursday evening.
 Monitor stage 38.5 ft, Flood stage 44.5
Impact for McConnell...Near 38.5 feet, Monitor Stage.
