...Elevated Flows Continue Along Cosumnes River...

.Periods of moderate to heavy rainfall from a recent storm system
have resulted in renewed rises along the Cosumnes River. Both the
Michigan Bar and McConnell points along the Cosumnes and in
action/monitor stage. For the latest river forecasts throughout
California, please visit cnrfc.noaa.gov.

Forecasts are based on present and forecasted meteorological and
hydrologic conditions at time of issuance.

Unlisted forecast points are expected to remain below monitor stage.
All those affected by river conditions should remain alert for rapid
changes and for possible forecast revisions.

 Michigan Bar 2/14 2:30 stage 8.4 ft
Forecast to recede to near 7.0 FT late tomorrow morning then
forecast to fall below monitor stage of 7.0 FT tomorrow afternoon
then forecast to recede to near 6.5 FT early Sunday morning.
 Monitor stage 7.0 ft, Flood stage 12.0
Impact for Michigan Bar...Near 8.0 feet, Low lying lands along the
river begin to flood.

 McConnell 2/14 2:15 stage 36.0 ft
Forecast to fluctuate near 42.0 FT into just after midnight tonight
then forecast to fall below monitor stage of 38.5 FT tomorrow
afternoon then forecast to recede to near 35.5 FT early Sunday
afternoon.
 Monitor stage 38.5 ft, Flood stage 44.5
Impact for McConnell...Near 38.5 feet, Monitor Stage.
Near 41.5 feet, The Cosumnes River overflow channel begins to flow.
