...Rises Forecast Along the Lower Sacramento River System...

.A series of strong winter storms will bring periods of moderate to
heavy rainfall to northern California through the end of the week.
This will result in rises along the mainstem Sacramento River and
its tributaries. Fremont Weir is experiencing overflow currently

Forecasts are based on present and forecasted meteorological and
hydrologic conditions at time of issuance.

Unlisted forecast points are expected to remain below monitor stage.
All those affected by river conditions should remain alert for rapid
changes and for possible forecast revisions.

 Rumsey Bridge 2/04 8:45 stage 13.1 ft
Forecast to fall below monitor stage of 12.0 FT just after midnight
tonight then forecast to recede to near 5.0 FT early Thursday
afternoon then forecast to rise to near 5.5 FT late Thursday evening
with continued rise expected.
 Monitor stage 12.0 ft, Flood stage 14.0

 Yolo 2/04 8:30 stage 59.0 ft
Forecast to rise above monitor stage of 75.0 FT tomorrow morning
then forecast to rise to near 78.5 FT late tomorrow morning then
forecast to fall below monitor stage of 75.0 FT early tomorrow
afternoon then forecast to recede to near 59.5 FT late Thursday
evening.
 Monitor stage 75.0 ft, Flood stage 81.0
Impact for Yolo...Near 75.0 feet, Yolo County and CA DWR begin
patrolling levee sections of Cache Creek. Yolo County OES alert
responding agencies to the potential impacts from the rising creek
levels.

 Fremont Weir 2/04 9:15 stage 32.7 ft
Present overflow depth is about 0.9 FT then overflow depth at weir
increasing to 0.9 FT late this evening then overflow depth at weir
increasing to 1.4 FT late tonight then overflow depth at weir
increasing to 1.7 FT late tomorrow morning then overflow depth at
weir increasing to 1.9 FT early tomorrow afternoon.
 Monitor stage 32.0 ft, Flood stage 39.5
Impact for Fremont Weir...Near 33.1 feet, At one foot of overflow,
the river road to Woodland is closed due to flooding.
Near 32.0 feet, Fremont Weir crest elevation. Overflow begins into
the Yolo Bypass flooding agricultural lands.

 Monitor stage 27.5 ft, Flood stage 33.5
Impact for I Street Bridge...Near 21.4 feet, Discovery Park is
closed to the public.

Yolo Bypass At
 Lisbon 2/04 9:15 stage 7.4 ft
Forecast to fluctuate near 7.5 FT into tomorrow morning then
forecast to rise to near 8.0 FT late tomorrow morning then forecast
to rise above monitor stage of 13.0 FT late Thursday morning then
forecast to rise to near 15.0 FT late Thursday evening with
continued rise expected.
 Monitor stage 13.0 ft, Flood stage 19.0
Impact for Lisbon...Near 12.0 feet, County Road 107 is flooded.
Near 9.5 feet, Yolo Bypass flooding extends 1/4 mile west. No
structural damage is occurring.
Near 10.5 feet, Local roads on the east side of the Yolo Bypass
south of the I-80 causeway are flooded.
Near 11.0 feet, Glide In Ranch & Mound Farms begin to flood.
Near 13.0 feet, Flood waters extend approximately 1 mile west of the
tow drain downstream of the Lisbon gage.
Near 14.0 feet, Skyrakers Duck Club ponds begin to flood.
Near 15.0 feet, County Road 155 is flooded west of the Golden Sprig
Duck Club.
