Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 30.0 inches over the northern plains
will build into Lake Superior by this evening. Ridging of at
least 29.9 inches remains anchored over Lake Superior Wednesday
before low pressure ejecting out of the Plains leads to pressure
falls down to 29.4 inches over Lake Superior by Friday. The low
pressure system deepens to 28.9 inches on early Saturday morning
over central Minnesota before moving over western Lake Superior at
29.0 inches by Saturday afternoon.
