Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

30.1 inch high pressure ridging lingers overhead, then slowly
weakens into the weekend. A 29.4 inch low moves southeast over
Northern Ontario toward Lake Superior, bringing 29.6 inch troughing
to Lake Superior on Sunday. This low weakens through the day, while
a secondary 29.6 inch low develops near Lake Huron. This low lifts
north into Ontario Monday morning. 29.9 inch ridging builds back
over the lake by Tuesday afternoon.
