Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...30.2 inch high pressure moving over the Great Lakes
this evening will strengthen to 30.5 inches by Sunday morning and
will give way to a low pressure lifting into the Upper Great Lakes
at around 29.5 inches by Monday morning. Behind the low, weak
ridging of around 30.1 inches moves back over Lake Superior on
Tuesday into Wednesday. This will be followed up by weak low
pressure of around 29.9 inches moving towards the Great Lakes
Thursday, though there is uncertainty in the track and strength of
this next system.
