Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.3 inch low over western Lake Superior will lift
to near James Bay this afternoon, weakening slightly to 29.4
inches. 30.1 inch ridging builds over Lake Superior Thursday
night, then builds to 30.3 inches by Friday morning. Saturday,
Lake Superior will be between a 30.4 inch high over the Central
Plains and a 29.8 inch low moving through the Lower Great Lakes.
This low deepens to 29.3 inches over northern Quebec while the
high over the Plains weakens to 30.2 inches on Sunday. Monday, a
30.3 inch high will settle from the Canadian Prairie to the
Northern Plains while a 29.6 inch low passes towards the Lower
Great Lakes.
