National Weather Service Marquette MI
401 PM EST Fri Nov 7 2025

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

A 29.3 inch low over eastern Ontario will push into Quebec overnight
and into Saturday morning. Ridging will build over the lake this
weekend as the low exits into Quebec and 30.6 inch high pressure
develops over the Great Plains, with the ridge over the lake
strengthening from 29.8 inches on Saturday to 30.2 inches through
Sunday night. The ridge quickly breaks down early next week as a
29.4 inch trough sweeps across the lake on Tuesday through Wednesday
morning. By Wednesday night the lake will be between 30.1 inch
ridging over the plains and a deep 28.8 inch low over the Hudson Bay.
