Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.0 inch trough across southern Lake Superior will
quickly lift north this afternoon as 29.1 inch low pressure moves
out over the Prairie Provinces. The low will then deepen to 28.9
inches as it tracks east, reaching northern Ontario late tonight
and northern Quebec Monday evening. One associated trough at 29.2
inches will cross Lake Superior early Monday followed by a second
at 29.6 inches early on Tuesday. In its wake, a weak 29.9 inch
high pressure ridge will reach Lake Superior Tuesday afternoon.
Another low pressure trough of 29.7 inches will quickly move east
across Lake Superior on Wednesday. A 29.8 inch trough will then
linger back into the Upper Great Lakes through early Thursday. As
that trough departs during Thursday, high pressure of 30.2 inches
will build southeast across northern Ontario. A 29.3 inch low
pressure will then drop southeast into the Upper Great Lakes on
Friday.
