Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... 30.0 inch high pressure is moving into Lake Superior this evening. As the high shifts towards the Lower Great Lakes through Tuesday morning, it builds to 30.1 inches. Low pressure pushes out of the Rockies on Tuesday. As this low moves into James Bay Wednesday, it pulls a 29.8 inch trough through Lake Superior. Remnant troughing of 29.9 inches remains over the lake through Thursday.
